Who it’s for
Learners who are comfortable with computers and ready for code — students, aspiring developers, and designers who want to build what they design. No previous programming experience is assumed; the course starts from the foundations and builds up.
What you’ll learn
- HTML essentials — the structure of every web page
- CSS & responsive layouts — styling pages that work on phones, tablets and desktops
- JavaScript basics — making pages interactive
- The developer workflow — code editors, browser developer tools and version-control basics
- WordPress as a platform — how themes and templates really work under the surface
- WordPress development — child themes, customisation and an introduction to hooks
- Forms, performance & security basics — the essentials every live site needs
- Final project — build and launch a complete website using what you have learned
Skills & outcomes
By the end you will be able to hand-code responsive web pages in HTML, CSS and JavaScript, customise WordPress far beyond the point-and-click settings, and launch and look after a complete website — the foundation skills of a working web developer.
Format
In-person sessions in Jhelum, heavily practical: most of your time is spent writing real code and building, finishing with a complete final project.
Planned duration: 6–8 weeks (planned — to be confirmed when enrolment opens)
